if you want to use SSL connections in PopCorn, you'll have to install for example the Win32 Open SSL software package you can get here: http://www.slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html.
I installed this package into a new bottle called WIN32SSL. After that I start PopCorn using this bottle. Now I can use SSL secured connections in PopCorn.
