Plutonium Launcher Tips

[macOS] Installation Requirements

I figured I would share the setup I used to get the launcher running, since the last report of this app was "does not boot".

Bottle

  • Type: Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dependencies

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later
  • Visual C++ 2015-2022 (64-bit) or later

Installing Plutonium Launcher

  1. Download the installer from the following link
  2. In CrossOver, open the bottle you created and open the bottle's C: drive
  3. Place the installer anywhere on the C: drive (I placed it in Program Files (x86))
  4. Back in CrossOver, select Run Command
  5. In the Command section, choose Browse, and navigate to the installer
  6. After selecting the installer, save the command as a launcher
