PK51 Professional Developer's Kit Tips

Everything in PK51 works except for floating licences

The Keil IDE works very well, it does everything that it will do under WinXP.  One problem is that fLoating licenses do not work because at this wine does not support network shares though this can be worked around by changing a very few lines of wine code.  THe problem is that wine has stubbed out call to get universal name which is needed but if you fix that you then find that wine has also stubbed out the open of the network share.  In a "normal" system, the share is probably an NFS mount that is exported via samba any way.  Obviously in this case, it is very easy to set an environment variable to map the share to the nfs name it would correspond to but it would OF COURSE be better to just open the share with a samba call.  It would be really nice if the network shares could be enabled.  If this was fixed, the program would be gold++.
