Making phpDesigner work in Slackware and Other Linux Distros
After chatting with the developer and owner of the mpsoftware, I found out that the new version requires msxml3 to work properly. So if you are having issues getting the application to launch make sure you have the Crossover Office Runtime Support application MSXML3 installed in your bottle. Without this runtime file the phpDesigner refuses to launch or is unstable.
After installing msxml3 I have found many issues that I've experienced in the past to go away. This has allowed me to bump the rating form bronze to silver. However I can not give it more then a silver rating at this time without more testing.
