When you change the settings in the game menu, make sure to leave the "Shadow Settings" as they are. When you select "Shadow Map", it crashes the game and the "Blob Shadow" seems not to work. The rest of the settings you can tweak however you want. (But "Anti Alising" can not be activated. At least not on my MacBook Pro)
