Display problems can be fixed by installing CnC-Ddraw into the game: Download from https://github.com/CnCNet/cnc-... then extract into the game installation directory and add a ddraw.dll override from the wine setup to set it to use "native" ddraw.
Game will run very laggy though, at least on an M1
