Once installed, download the available patch for Paradise and run it from the Crossover windows command line - I had no trouble applying it and apart from fixing SOME of the bugs in this very buggy game (even under Windows), it gives you a new button in the options menu to turn off the animated cursor - the reported cause of a number of issues.
