As with Paint Shop Pro 6 and 7, version 9 still has the problem where it does not allow "save as", or "save". However, sometimes upon exiting Paint Shop Pro, when given the option to save changes, the changes are saved back to the same filename. (Therefore a work around is available where the file to be edited can be renamed prior to editing.)
