Don't Reinvent the Wheel - Download Templates and Extensions
We often need to produce similar documents to others' or would like to see additional functionality added to a core product. The OpenOffice community is large and diverse, so there are countless downloadable templates and extensions that might expedite your work.
A favorite of mine is the ReportBuilder for Base which would be installed into a Windows version of OpenOffice by using Tools | Extension Manager... then either browsing to a downloaded copy or using the dialog to find it online.
