In some cases, players may get stuck while creating a new save file at the "input your name" screen.
There are a few ways to solve this issue:
Try moving your bottles folder to /Users/~/Library/Containers. Refer to this article to find out how to move the bottles folder: https://www.codeweavers.com/su.... The '~' represents your username.
The other workaround is to find a save file on the internet and import it to your machine. To make sure that Nier: Automata reads the save file, create "My Games" folder in your Documents folder on Mac. Then, in "My Games" create "NieR_Automata" folder. You'll need to find the "GameData.dat" file on the internet and put it into the "NieR_Automata" folder.
