Netflix still does not work under Crossover 13.0.1 for Linux; On *buntu, use netflix-desktop instead
I tried installing Netflix using Firefox 14 and Firefox 26, and Silverlight 4.1 and 5.1 under Crossover 13.0.1 for Linux with no success. Apparently there are required patches to Wine, which have not yet been applied in Crossover 13.0.1. I will keep on trying. In the meantime, I find that the instructions here: http://www.iheartubuntu.com/2012/11/ppa-for-netflix-desktop-app.html (also discussed in Forum) work very well and provide Netflix viewing capability that does not conflict with Crossover installation. Mac OS X has native support for Netflix, so there is no need for Crossover or Wine to run Netflix.
