Note: Written as of MLO 4.4.6 in CrossOver 17.1.0 on Ubuntu 16.04
Requirements:
- MLO 4 Professional Edition For Desktop
- MLO Professional Edition For Mobile (Android/iOS)
If MLO Cloud is not available, there is still a way to synchronize data, and that is through the WiFi Sync.
When installing MLO4, make sure that the WiFi Sync option is enabled. Then proceed with setting up WiFi Sync:
1. Make sure that both the computer and smartphone are in the same network
2. Open MLO in CrossOver, and go to "Tools > Options > WiFi Synchronization"
3. Get the computer's IP Address, as it will be needed when setting up MLO for Mobile
4. In MLO for Mobile, go to the "Settings page (Gear icon) > Synchronization > WiFi"
5. Enter the computer's IP Address, then press "Pair" or "Done"
6. A PIN Code will appear on MLO for Mobile, so enter it in the prompt that comes up in MLO for Desktop
7. Once the pairing is done, go back to MLO for Mobile, then select "WiFi" when synchronizing changes in both MLO for Desktop and MLO for Mobile
Before leaving the desktop, ensure that MLO for Mobile is synchronized so that it can synchronize to another desktop with MLO.
