Make sure you are installing into a new bottle, I found it fails when I try to install into my existing Office 2010 bottle. I also unchecked the "Automatically activate when I go online" box. I used the installer with SP1 bundled, and got an error telling em that some updates failed to install, but the software still seems to work fine for me. I also had to install the Visual C 2008 runtime in order to get visio to launch.
