The PowerPoint Viewer always opens the presentation in full-screen mode which is perfect for... presentations. However, this may not be ideal when you want to review a presentation and comment on it in an email. The problem is that the viewer does not have an option to run in a window.
Fortunately CrossOver lets you do just that. Just edit ~/.cxoffice/dotwine/config (adapt to the location of your configuration file) and add the following lines to the end of the file:
[AppDefaults\\\\PPVIEW32.EXE\\\\x11drv]
"Managed" = "N"
"Desktop" = "800x600"
