Microsoft Outlook 2013 Tips

Problems opening Outlook: Secur32.dll

Issue: When opening Outlook 2013, you are presented with an error message during step "Loading Profile"

"The file Secur32.dll is incompatible with Microsoft Outlook. Install Outlook again"

  • Reinstall Outlook, be sure to use the template under "Supported Software"
  • When email configuration options are presented, be sure to choose to move forward without the setup of an email account
  • Once Outlook starts, quit Outlook and restart the bottle
  • Set up email account manually using only POP3/IMAP manual configuration
