If you are like me that have a non-english keyboard and your @ key is accessed pressing Alt Gr+Q and Crossover applications like Outlook don't allow you to insert those keys, you are at the right place.
The problem is that some distributions like openSUSE with KDE do not enable by default the Right Alt key to select the 3rd level in X Windows. But Qt and GTK use another system to manage this. So it only affect some XWindows applciations like Crossover apps.
The trick is to run the following command:
setxkbmap -option lv3:ralt_switch
I know how to tell KDE4 to run the command by itself. But similar solution is viable for other systems. Instructions:
