Uninstall IE from the Office bottle, and using regedit export the following registry keys:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HTTP
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\https
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ftp
Reinstall IE in the bottle with Outlook.
Import the registry keys you exported earlier.
Delete the shell\open\DDEEXEC key in each of the keys you import (example: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HTTP\shell\open\ddeexec).
Hyperlinks in Office applications should now use the default native web browser instead of IE installed in the bottle.
