OneNote 2010 works quite well (tested on Mac OS X Lion with CrossOver 11) using the CrossTie file downloadable here:
CrossOver will not be able to detect if OneNote's installer succeeds- this can be ignored (skipped). Once installed, however, OneNote is 95% functional - and more than simply usable under the intended use case.
Caveats you should be aware of:
- DirectX is not installed with this CrossTie file, so recording audio or video will not work (yet).
- Drag-and-drop insertion of files and images will not work. I'm not sure if this is just by nature of using CrossOver. Will investigate.
The above .tie file was based on the Microsoft Office Suite 2010.tie file, available on the Office 2010 Suite page in the compatibility center.
