Microsoft Office 2016 Tips

Most people simply want to know if an app will work for them or not. This page sets out to transparently  answer that as simply as possible, whilst also catering for the most common Office products, OS's, installation methods and core app functionality. 

This is maintained by application advocates based on their own observations and those they've confirmed with non-advocates.

                5. After attempting to access OneDrive based doc unsuccessfully (e.g. cancel password prompt), the blank doc populates with this error: 'Microsoft account requires JavaScript to sign in. This web browser either does not support JavaScript, or scripts are being blocked. To find out whether your browser supports JavaScript, or to allow scripts, see the browser's online help.' Installing Java 6 didn't help.
