Office 2013: Installing from Home Use Program Installer
Installation can be smooth or bumpy, I have had both. It is best when you have a fast and stable connection to the internet. Ethernet is recommended over WiFi.
Steps from Crossover main window
Tools > Install Software
Select Application > (Enter Microsoft Office 2013) > choose search result
Select Installer > Choose Installer File > Navigate to installer
Select Bottle > Leave at default of "New Windows 7 bottle"
Installation: Getting started wizard doesn't seem to respond
When you click Next (or any other button that will bring you to next page) it seems like nothing happens. Minimizing and restoring the window will refresh the page.
OfficeClickToRun.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close
This error can come up at any time during the installation. I
Just ignore the error (do not press close).
When you get to the last step of the installation, or "Welcome Wizard", you may then click close.
Outlook issue: The file Secur32.dll is incompatible with Microsoft Outlook
Do not attempt to set up email using Exchange or Activesync configurations
Use only IMAP/POP3
When you open outlook for the first time, decline to set up Outlook with an email account
When Outlook starts up, set up your account manually using IMAP/POP3
