Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Tips

Crossover 24 (.NET runs in win 7 x86 & eailer)

.NET framework 1.1 will install into a Win 7 x86 bottle and earlier will little fuss, you will NEED to provide your own installer as the installer link in the crossover database no longer works it throws a 404 error.

If you need installer as you may need for legacy games/software see below

old version site: MS .NET Framework 1.1

then during install click the (chose installer) button to install the framework

DO NOT install in to a x64 bottle, the install may fail or make any program that depends on the framework to become unstable or fail entirely
