With CX-versions before 4.2 your web uploading and finishing experince will drastically improve if you tweak your internet settings. Just visit the Crossover Configuration/Control Panel/Internet Settings/Security/Trusted Sites, and add your web site(s) to the trusted ones.
After that there should be no problem any more with regenerating/updating webs.
The probem is fixed with version 4.2 and does not need any more tweak, however.
