Can't save .xlsx files on Samba shares from Excel 2007 on Linux
If you've opened an .xlsx file directly from a location on a samba share, you're very likely to encounter file save errors when you subsequently try to save the file to the server. This could result in the corruption of the file on the server. For this reason, you shouldn't try to save .xlsx files directly to a samba share from Excel in Crossover. Save them to your local drive, first, then manually copy to the server.
Note: this issue does not affect other MS Office file types, nor does it affect Mac OS X.
