The installation detects two hard disk drives, C: and c:, the only difference being the upper or lower case of the letter C. However, when trying to change install path by the 'Change' button, it shows only one selectable drive: "C:\ drive_c" without the quotation marks.
The default installation path is "C:/Program Files/Metal Gear Solid" without the quotation marks.
It seems that the installer is going to install in the 'C:' drive, showing both the available and required space for the chosen installation method (complete or minimum). Whatever your installation choice however, the the 'c:' drive shows a constant 0.4 MB required.
In short, The space available on both the C: and c: drives is the same, but the space required on C: is as per your installation choice, and the space required on c: is 0.4 MB, regardless of your choice.
