I was able to install MEGA 4.1 Beta 3 in Crossover 8.0.0 (Mac) and open mega files, do various analyses, and construct and chart neighbor-joining/ parsimony phylogenies and bootstrap. I was also able to do CLUSTAL alignments and nucleotide-aa conversions. The blast browser did not work, but other small problems (not opening abi sequence data) also happened under windows.
Mega version 4.0 has small problems- it opens windows with the error message "range check error" and the main window displays "IsDeveloper is ON". I was able to click through the error message and open files including abi files.
