Mathcad 15.0 Tips

This application will not install simply by selecting the executable or the folder. The install folder needs to be placed in the Program Files folder of an existing bottle.

i) On a mac create a new MathCAD 15 bottle in crossover.

ii) Install the following dependencies :

.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (This exact version is required)
MSXML 6.0 (This exact version is required)
Internet Browser Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
Microsoft Data Access
Components (MDAC)2.8

iii) Open up a finder window and Go to user library folder > ~/Library/Application Support/Crossover/MathCAD 15/drive_c/Program Files

iv) Open a second finder windows and drag and drop the mathcad 15 install folder in the directory in (iii)

v) Close the finder windows and open Crossover. Go tot he MathCAD bottle and use the run command and browse to Program Files/MathCAD install folder.

vi) Select the the setup.exe and run it. Note you will need a license to activate it.
