Mass Effect Tips

Fix for a lack of sound

If you aren't getting any sound in game (even if it's working during cinematics) try installing "Microsoft Sound Engine 9" and "Direct Music" into the bottle which you are using to run Mass Effect from. This can be done, for instance, by right clicking on the bottle's name and selecting "Install Software into Bottle..." and then beginning to type what it is you are trying to install and selecting the appropriate program. Also, you can do this by clicking the button, "Install Windows Software..." beginning typing the name and selecting the appropriate program then selecting the bottle with Mass Effect in it.
