Since ranking Macromedia Studio 8 as Gold, I had occasion to make a clean install of Ubuntu (I had to go back to version 8.04 as 9.04 has internet wireless issues). After installing Crossover, Macromedia Studio 8 was my first windows install and the installation failed with a " can't find a suitable bottle for installation" or words to that effect.
I overcame this problem by simply removing crossover, installing Wine directly from the synaptics package manager and then installing crossover before attempting any windows software installtions.
Macromedia Studio 8 then installed perfectly.
I have been using Studio 8 (Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash) for about 6 months now with Ubuntu 8.04 and have had no problems using all the features of the applications other than the re-install glitch reported above.
