After you started Lotro the First time in Lotro creates an "Lord of the rings Online" Folder in the Documents directory.
There is a file named UserPreferences.ini This file should be opened with Textedit. There is a part called "Resolution" = XXX x XXX After i changed the Resolution to 1440x 900 (Main Resolution of my Macbook pro) it worked for me :D (Resolution =1440x900)
