Unlike CXO 3.0.1, CXO 3.1.0 and 4.0 both break the interface very badly. OpenGL is drawn into the button control areas of the interface and the OpenGL display area is blank.
This was an issue in vanilla wine (2004) from the beginning of July until the October release. Vanilla wine restores normal operation with the October release.
CXO 3.0.1 was based on February wine and, for the most part, runs LW fine (with the noted issues).
CXO 4.0 is a bust with this application; you will need to either use vanilla Wine (October 2004) or CXO 3.0.1 side-installed with CXO 4.0
