CrossOver actually doesn't have support for USB devices so you won't be able to plug the device to the computer using this program, but you can do many things once you have logged in. Steps:
First of all install this program in Windows using the provided CD.
Follow the instructions to configure the device and create a parent account if you doesn't have one.
When everything is ok, in Windows go and install this program in Linux using the CrossOver Wizzard.
After installation do no click on "Setup" just go to "My Account" and enter your parent credentials, after that the device name and logo will appear in the main screen like the screenshot.
Now again do not click on the device, just use the upper buttons "Download Center", "Progress Log", "My Account", "Help" everything works.
Go ahead and by some content for your child, you will be able to pay but after the payment browser closes you need to manually cancel the operation, don't worry your purchase is safe, and after restarting the program your child will be able to download it directly (if you are using InnoTab 2S, or download at home via the Windows application
So why this application is useful in Linux? Because at work you can see progress, choose and buy content and you only need Windows if your device cannot download content via WiFi
