JRuby 1.6 Tips

Setting JRuby to run in 1.9 by default

To set JRuby to run in 1.9 by default you need to set an environmental variable to:
key:  JRUBY_OPTS 
value: --1.9

To do this, go to the Run... Menu option in the CrossOver menu and type "regedit" 
from there find the HKEY_CURRENT_USER option on the side bar, hit the plus sign and select "Environment" from the sub-options. 

Then go to the right pane, right click on a white space and select "New > String Value" to create a new key.
Set the Key to JRUBY_OPTS (don't forget the s) and the value to --1.9 (two dashes).
