As part of Oracle's OpenJDK initiative, several Open Source distributions of the Java 8 Runtime Environment and Development Kit are available. These distributions often have compiler optimizations for better performance and install with no fuss through CrossOver.
The following distributions have been tested and verified as fully functional through CrossOver:
- Adoptium Eclipse Temurin (Latest)
- Azul Zulu (Latest)
