This seems to be working with Crossover for Games 9.2.0 Mac assuming you're in a DRM-free location.
1) Install DirectX 9.0 Modern in a new XP bottle. 2) Install Jade Empire from CD/DVD. 3) Fix DRM loose end if legal in your area.
Jade Empire requires Crossover for Games 9.2.0 or later to work correctly as far as I can tell earlier versions do not work and it needs Wine 1.2.x to function correctly.
