This is part one, of a group of messages. I just wanted to make a statement on how IRIS work when I use it via Crossover on my mac. Of course not all functionnalities are used, but this is a classical use. We'll see what works well, what doesn't work.
Part 1 : The launch
This a very few issues in this part. Except this : if, like me, you sometimes uses double screen option, IRIS seems unable to cope with a one-screen-only situation any more. It doesn't crashes, but some (sometimes all) windows doesn't appears any more. The solution found on the net is to destroy the IRIS.ini file.
-> the trick :
in crossover, select "manage Bottles", then in "advanced" tab select "Open C: drive in finder"
in the opening finder window, you can open driver_c directory, then iris. There you'll find iris.ini
a destruction of this file, then restart of iris, will make all the standard iris windows come back on the single screen.
