IrfanView 4 Tips

Installing on Chrome OS (v 17.1.0 beta)

WIth the 17.1 beta update, the search for Irfanview 4 fails and it tells you it cannot locate the installation file.  If you fire up Chrome browser and then download Irfanview from the 'Net and let the file save to your Downloads folder, you can the just select if from list of available, local installation files after having pressed the refresh button in the install window.  It installs and runs well after that.
