.WD2 files must be all in the one Program Files/Info Select directory. Forget about trying to maintain a separate data or *.wd2 only directory. I even had the pros at codeweavers looking into this. It is not that much of a bother provided you filter "*.wd2" if you are backing up or updating your files. I backup and transfer twice a day between work & home and sometimes to a laptop as well using a usb pendrive. Works well.
Using CrossOver Mac 7.1.0 I also can confirm this is the case as regards the WD2 files. Generally for Info Select 2007.00.42 try to use the keyboard short cuts for consistant reactions. On my Intel iMac the "F keys are ALL problematic, even when used in combination with other keys but there is usualy a keyboard work around. Familiarity will make this less of a problem.
