Icewind Dale II Tips

To properly install the game off the two CD-ROMs, I needed to follow this guide:

I was able to copy each CD to my hard disk, and run the install from there, and when it came to swapping CDs, I just selected the other CD folder.  You will still need the CD to play, however.

So in the Crossover Software Installer, use the following settings:

Select an application to install: Unsupported Application -> Other Application
Select an installer: Choose Installer Folder -> Select your first installation disc's folder
Select a bottle: XP Bottle

Now once you get to start the game, you will need to use a prebuilt party, and modify from there, otherwise you will have crashes when decompressing various .tot files.  For some reason, this method gets around that error, and the game will play perfectly fine.
