You need to have the gds32.dll available to connect to databases.
Not sure yet how to facilitate this under CrossOver.
In windows however it is installed when you install a database locally, ie install Firebird. This also adds error messages etc, so is the prefered way.
However if you have another machine with Firebird installed, then just copy over the dll from the system32 folder to your machine.
