To install under 9.0 and later use the following tip. If you are running a version previous to 9 you will need to find a way to install the Visual C++ 6.0 runtime and MDAC 2.5 SP3 into the same bottle as you want to install HLR in, I'm sorry I don't have time to test it but if you find a way to do it, please post it in the forum for other users to enjoy.
1.) Create a new WinXP bottle and call it HLR (or whatever you want) 2.) Install the Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 Redistributable from Runtime Support Components into the HLR bottle 3.) Install the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.5 Service Pack 3 from Runtime Support Components into the HLR bottle. 4.) Install the HLR application software into the HLR bottle
You can also just use the C4P file. All you need to do is point it to the setup.exe file located on the CD. It will then create a Windows 2000 bottle, install the dependancies listed above, and install the application for you. Have your serial number handy since you will need it during installation.
