Installation of H-89 Emulator and H8DUtility (H8 Disk Utility)
The Heathkit H-8/H-89 was an eight-bit computing platform sold in kit form by Heathkit. Les Bird has created a fantastic disk management utility that happens to include a full emulator as well.
I recommend creating a Windows XP bottle and installing the XNA Framework required by the utility. After that, the utility can be installed. The performance seems acceptable, especially since it's only an 8-bit machine that's being emulated and everything seems to perform about the same as in Windows. The only thing that's still a little off is the font.
