Now, as there IS already a Mac version of Guitar Pro 5, one may wonder "why should I install Guitar Pro with Crossover on my Mac?"
Well, I found a great lack in the Mac version of GP5: Midi importing. Yes, there actually is midi importing, but it sucks. Really. You can't choose the tracks to import, actually you can't choose anything at ALL.
So if you wish to import MIDIs in Guitar Pro, you may want to use Crossover. It works like charm, really. Then you just save the final result and you can use it on GP5 for Mac!
