When installing GoldMine: Install to a folder other than (the default) c:\program files\goldmine\. A popular choice is c:\apps\goldmine.
Also, very importantly, be sure to install the 'shared Borland Database Engine' as referenced by the installer for 6.7. On older installers (6.5 and prior) the shared BDE was installed via the CUSTOM installation option to install the 'workstation setup files'.
This step will insure that the BDE is installed within the GoldMine folder and not somewhere else -- which can inhibit proper functionality.
