Given that major areas of GoldMine depend on Internet Explorer API calls and these do not currently work under WINE, it can be beneficial to divorce some areas of GoldMine from the IE dependencies.
The activity notes can be made to NOT depend on IE with an INI setting
added to the GM.INI in the root folder of the GoldMine tree.
Add the following item to the [GoldMine] section:
[GoldMine] HTML_CAL_NOTES=0
...and the activity notes will work without depending on Internet Explorer hooks.
