To install the Garfield Daily Desktop Comic .msi file, you will need to go to Programs » Run Command... Browse for the installer file, and then add before it:
"msiexec /i "
without the quotes. So it should look like this:
msiexec /i "[file path here]"
The shortcut should save to Programs. Otherwise you can try finding the file and saving the command in "Run Command..." (The installer tells you the install location. The installer also saves a shortcut to the user's, crossover's, desktop [file extension: .lnk].).
