GamersGate Downloader Tips

At the completion of a GamersGate installation process, you will be prompted as to whether or not you wish to keep the downloaded installation files. These files, in pristine condition and as such uninstalled, are located in the 

~/GamersGate temporary files

directory (assuming you had the GamersGate installer in your home directory). You should preserve this directory if ever you want to reinstall a GamersGate title without the need to re-download all the installation files.

Note: the GamersGate installer *must* be in a directory that you have write permissions, or installation will fail (due to the fact the installer cannot create/write to the 'GamersGate temporary files'  directory)"
