some of the latest versions of FF seem to have broken the ability to use a DownLoad Manager. ( excluding it's inbuilt manager ) Eg:- this seems to affect FlashGot and wxDFast as it's manager.
JDownloader still seems to work, - though.
So, it's nice to see that Free Download Manager - still works. - just change it's default /download from C;\doc&settings\you\my documents\ my downloads - to y:/home/you/documents/download - your 'nix download directory
