As of Crossover XI, the printing problem is alleviated somewhat if you only use Franklin Estimator casually. Because it will print normally once before it starts to crash the bottle, a casual user can access the database, create a new estimate, print the estimate and then quit from Estimator, all with normal behavior. It's only on the second attempt to print that things go awry. You can even do other (non-printing) work after printing. Just expect that the second time you attempt to print the bottle will malfunction.
This works for me, because in my job, I might do a couple of estimates in the course of a day. It wouldn't work for a centralized print estimator in a busy shop.
Keep in mind that you can generate as many PDF prints as you like without a crash.
