Tested on Mac OS X 10.5.8 with Crossover 10.0.1.
Either version of Franklin Estimator (5.4 or 5.5) will install. They both seem require the following additional installs:
DotNet 2
MDAC 2.8
Core Fonts (for printing display - see below)
DirectX Runtime (Modern)
Microsoft XML Parser
1. When you first launch, the Franklin Setup app will want to be aimed at your SQL server. You need to enter an IP address, rather than the default MS Network address.
2. Printing does not work, but you can preview and print to file (PDF).
3. Estimator 5.5 seems slightly slower, but more stable than 5.4.
