Looks like we're at the point where there are no needed work-arounds to run Agent in Crossover. The help file works just fine without needing to run it separately in a CHM file viewer like we did previously.
One thing you can do if you're using Agent in Wine or Windows and you want an identical installation in Crossover is to install Agent but don't run it. Copy all of your Agent folders and files from Windows or Wine into the corresponding folders and file in the Crossover file structure. This will eliminate the need to enter the long registration code and will copy everything to your new installation.
You then can set up Agent in Windows to "leave messages on the server until retrieved at both of my sites" and see if that works for you, or just set it to leave messages on the server on the installation in Windows. That way, you will always have all messages in your Agent installation in Windows but can still receive mail in Linux (or the other way around, of course). However, you won't get any messages in Linux that are retrieved in Windows with the second setting.
Of course, if you're not using Agent in Windows in the first place, you'll just set Agent up and forget most of this.
